Electrical Harness Engineer

We are looking for a qualified Electrical Harness Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for the design, documentation and development of wire harness assemblies for aerospace and defense customers.

Design wire harness assemblies using EPLAN or equivalent tools
Develop harness manufacturing documentation including form boards and cut lists
Support customer requirements reviews and interface control document development
Perform DFM analysis and route optimisation for new programmes
Liaise with production team during first-article build and test phases
Maintain engineering change records and drawing revisions
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
3+ years experience in wire harness design
Proficiency in EPLAN, Zuken E3 or equivalent
Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 acceptability standards
Experience with MIL-SPEC connector and wire systems
Strong technical documentation skills in English
IPC Certified Harness Inspector

EMICAB is seeking an experienced IPC Certified Harness Inspector (CIS) to perform in-process and final inspection of wire harness assemblies. The role requires strong knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and the ability to work to Class 3 acceptance criteria.

Perform in-process and final inspection of harness assemblies to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3
Operate Nexya automated test bench and interpret test results
Complete inspection records and certificate of conformance documentation
Identify and log non-conformances with detailed descriptions
Support first-article inspection activities
Provide feedback to production team on workmanship issues
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) — required
2+ years inspection experience in harness or electronics manufacturing
Knowledge of MIL-SPEC connector and wire standards
Experience with automated electrical test equipment
Attention to detail and strong written record-keeping
English proficiency — Arabic an advantage
Wire Harness Technician

We are recruiting Wire Harness Technicians to join our growing production team. You will build, assemble and test precision wire harness assemblies for defense and aerospace programmes under the supervision of our production supervisors.

Build wire harness assemblies to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 standards
Perform wire cutting, crimping, soldering and connector backshell assembly
Carry out continuity and point-to-point testing using test equipment
Complete traveller documentation and production records accurately
Follow work instructions, form boards and assembly drawings
Maintain a clean, organised and tool-controlled workstation
Technical qualification in electrical or electronics assembly
IPC/WHMA-A-620 training — desirable but full training provided
Hands-on experience in harness or PCB assembly preferred
Ability to read and follow engineering drawings
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Commitment to quality and safe working practices
